Last Saturday was completely awesome at the West Elm Etsy PopUp Event.

The store was beautiful and the other talented vendors were so amazing. It was really neat to see some of the artists that I have admired from Etsy be at the event alongside me!

So last week I found a shabby sofa table that someone was throwing out. I took a look at it and thought it would make a great sewing table for my livingroom- after some fixing up of course:)

I love how it turned out. With a little extra support, sanding and staining it turned out great!

Susannamaria is now making fluffy pillows! The other day I went shopping for fabric, and found this lovely mauve microfiber, and I just had to buy it - so soft and pretty. I thought the perfect thing to make out of it, were two pillows, with some scrap leather cut out into cute little tulips!

So I was lucky to be able to watch the MMVA's last night from my friends balcony that over looked the main stage at Much Music! One of my fav reality tv stars, Whitney Port from The City, happen to be there. I just love her and her clothing line Whitney Eve.

Welcome to Susannamaria, you can call me Susie. My plans for this blog is to share(post) anything fashionable, creative and fun that catches my eye. I'm a budding handbag designer in Toronto and I'm currently working on a girlie collection called, Susannamaria...hence the blog title.

I'll be sure to update you on the process of getting my handbag collection together, it's a lot of work... but so so worth it.
